QIs it better to make a reservation for the rental?

Yes, we recommend making a reservation as the number of rental bikes is limited. For email reservations, please book at least two days before your departure date. If you visit without a reservation, please understand that we may not be able to rent a bike to you.

QWhen can I make a reservation?

We accept both email and phone reservations starting 60 days before your departure date.

QWhen is the payment made?

Payment is made in-store on the day of the rental. While we prefer cash payments whenever possible, we also accept credit cards and PAYPAY. If you would like to use other payment methods, please consult with us.

QPlease tell me about the available rental hours.

On weekdays, our rental hours are from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. On weekends and holidays, you can rent bikes from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For customers who wish to start early in the morning, we offer a “Day Before Pickup” option. This service allows you to pick up the bike after 5:00 PM the day before your rental period starts, at no extra charge. If you would like to use this service, please let us know in advance.

QCan I purchase accident insurance for the bicycle?

We currently do not offer accident insurance. If you need it, please arrange for insurance yourself through the internet or at a nearby convenience store.

QDo you have children’s bikes?

We apologize, but we do not have bikes specifically for children. However, if your child is at least 140 cm tall, they can use our bikes.

QDo you have large-sized bicycles?

We have sizes available for both hybrid bikes and road bikes that can accommodate riders over 180 cm. However, the number of these bikes is limited, so we recommend making a reservation as early as possible.

QDo you have bicycles with baskets?

We apologize, but currently, we only offer sports bikes without baskets. However, we do rent pocketable backpacks if needed. Please let us know if you require one.

QWhat kind of clothing is recommended?

Sports bikes do not have covers for the chain or gears. To prevent your clothing from getting caught, we recommend wearing pants with narrow cuffs or leggings. Sneakers or sports shoes are preferred. Please avoid riding with high heels or sandals, as they can be dangerous. Additionally, we recommend carrying a backpack or shoulder bag that won’t interfere with your ride.

QPlease tell me how to choose a bike.

Hybrid Bike

Designed to be easy for beginners to ride, hybrid bikes are stable even at relaxed speeds. Our hybrid bikes are particularly suited for the Yokohama and Minato Mirai area, as they handle sidewalk-to-road transitions well.

Aluminum Road Bike

Ideal for long-distance rides of over 20 km. The handlebars are further and lower compared to hybrid bikes, resulting in a more forward-leaning riding position. However, you can enjoy a faster and more exhilarating ride compared to a hybrid bike.

Carbon Road Bike

Lighter and equipped with more gears than aluminum road bikes, carbon road bikes offer significantly improved performance. These bikes are recommended for those seeking higher performance and for experienced sport cyclists.

QWhat time do I need to return the bike?

For a 4-Hour rental, please return the bike within 4 hours from the start of the rental. For a One-day rental, bikes must be returned by 7:00 PM on weekdays and by 6:00 PM on weekends and holidays.

QIs it possible to rent a bike for multiple days?

Yes, it is possible. Please make a request at the time of reservation.

QWhat should I do if I think I might not be able to return the bike on time?

Please contact the return location as soon as possible. In such cases, you may be required to pay an additional fee based on the extra time. Depending on the time of day, you might have to return the bike the following day and pay for two days.

QIf the bike is stolen, what should I do?

Please contact the store immediately. Compensation for theft will follow the limit of liability amounts. Click here for Liability Waiver Coverage.

QPlease tell me about what to do in case of a flat tire or other issues while riding.

If you experience a flat tire or other issues while riding near our store, we will assist as much as possible. However, if the trouble occurs far from our location, please have the repair done at the nearest bike shop. The cost of repairs at other shops will be at your expense, but if you provide or show the receipt upon return, we may be able to cover part of the repair cost. For more details, please refer to the Liability Waiver Coverage.

QWhat should I do if I damage the bicycle or any parts during my rental period?

If any parts are found to be damaged to the extent that they impair usage upon return, repair costs will be charged to the customer. Please be aware of this in advance. The amount charged will be based on the liability coverage amount. Click here for Liability Waiver Coverage.
